@ heynnema I'havent checked /sys/class/backlight wile i was using 6.x kernel.
With 6.x kernel, adding acpi_backlight=vendor" to /etc/default/grub did not fixed things for me. Also tried : GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor" and GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_backlight=intel" from this community ubuntu website (https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/retro- eclairage), but no luck.
