Also, can you please check if you might have 'letterboxing' enabled by any chance? This might be a side-effect of enabled letterboxing. To check that, open 'about:config' and see if you have a 'privacy.resistFingerprinting.letterboxing' setting with a value of 'true'. Also, another possible cause I'd heard over the years is some adblock extensions. If you have any installed, can you try disabling it and see if it helps? If that happens to be the culprit, you may want to try using uBlock Origin, which has been solid and I've never heard any similar reports about it.
