Despite I currently have the flat version (because upgrading my OS to
17.1 replaced with that) certain issues that I'm experiencing are the
same so I can still help on explaining them. The setting you suggested
doesn't exist, and the problem was occurring even without extensions, I
experienced it since the beginning. I have an ad-blocker but that's
limited to YouTube (sometimes there are too many ads so I want to block
them 😁). Anyway this bug was already reported on Bugzilla at least twice
(other results are referring to specific pages, not any that the user
may open). You may want to search for “blank bottom”, or any keyword you
know that fits the issue best.
