I am the maintainer of the Mythbuntu-Lirc-Generator that creates these functions. I also use the same remote. However due to the nature of the remote function a universal mapping for ALL buttons on ALL remotes is not feasible. Although this is the case I am working on a GUI to provide easy user support to add button mappings to ALL remotes beyond the current config.
