I think you should be able to install following packages from the same
ppa:

  * gstreamer1.0-icamera
  * v4l2loopback-dkms
  * v4l2-relayd

These 3 should be sufficient for you to bring up IPU6. And you'll need
to create a config file /etc/v4l2-relayd:

  root$ echo <<EOF | tee /etc/v4l2-relayd
  VIDEOSRC=icamerasrc
  FORMAT=YUY2
  WIDTH=1280
  HEIGHT=720
  FRAMERATE=30/1
  CARD_LABEL=Intel MIPI Camera
  EOF
