Repeat of #14 boot on - hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290) RikMills suggested I remove "maybe-ubiquity" from kernel line, I did so and session booted normally :)
operation of system looks good, but listing here as it only booted with "maybe-ubiquity" removed. ALSO installer/ubiquity failed to start :( either from icon on desktop, or menu entry. If I use terminal I get -- $ ubiquity --debug /usr/bin/ubiquity:74: DeprecationWarning: the imp module is deprecated in favour of importlib; see the module's documentation for alternative uses import imp -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1903378 Title: installation failed, but wasn't started (live boot only) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1903378/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
