If you look at the syslog from the original report, you will see: "Activated service 'org.kde.kglobalaccel' failed: Process org.kde.kglobalaccel received signal 6" BOTH report that "kglobalaccel5[1751]: qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display kglobalaccel5[1751]: qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found." proceeding the fail, so I suspect the origin of the problem as is the same. Just that the output in logs is a bit different, as we have new kglobalaccel, Qt and plasma now compared to the versions when the bug was 1st reported. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1903378 Title: installation failed, but wasn't started (live boot only) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1903378/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
