Devices that require restricted software to work usually are not the cause for a Distrobution not to work. It may be that you have to run a command at start up to get it to work. Also, if you have no idea what devices require restricted software, it isn't probable to say that R-M doesn't show all of your restricted hardware. Thank your for taking the time to report, but I don't believe this is a bug.
