I can confirm this issue with the following hardware: Gutsy 64 bit AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200 Asus M2N-E 2 Gigs DDR nVidia GeForce 7300 SE
I tried several different version of the nvidia drivers but still had lockups. When this happens CPU usage hits 100%, sometimes the mouse cursor can be moved, and CRTL+ALT+BKSPC, CRTL+ATL+DEL, etc do nothing.
