Regarding Automatix, my personal advice and what we tell customers at Canonical Support is that unless you know how to revert every singe action Automatix performs, you may end up having to reinstall Ubuntu from zero. Many " features" Automatixprovides are already part of Ubuntu and can be enabled fairly easily anyways. Support for this chipset/wifi radio changed radically from UBuntu 7.04 to 7.10, I personally don' t need any of the RaCOnfig utilities anymore and am using Network Manager without issues since last Friday. Can anyone of the contributors to this thread try using NM instead of RaConfig2500 ? Any specific reason you would keep using RaConfig2500 (so we can perhaps request enhancements to the standard, supported packages instead of relying on RaConfig2500) ? -- rt2x00.conf not found: RaConfig2500 does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103573 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
