Looks to me like upstream is already working on a GUI tool: https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt/issues/92
It also reveals that you can use `xinput` (which is already there) to do what needs to be done. Furthermore, reading a bit deeper into one of the implementations: https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt-config/pull/109 one finds that synaptics is not only vendor specific and less general but also in maintanence mode. Arch, Fedora, and Debian are all recommending libinput instead of synaptics. That said, this should be the way forward. status wontfix done -- @wxl | polka.bike C563 CAC5 8BE1 2F22 A49D 68F6 8B57 A48B C4F2 051A ** Bug watch added: github.com/lxqt/lxqt/issues #92 https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt/issues/92 ** Changed in: lubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Status: New => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1775201 Title: Please add xserver-xorg-input-synaptics to Lubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-meta/+bug/1775201/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
