Hello, The issue happened right from the installation of Ubuntu budgie amd 64 version. I followed your instructions received in the previous email.
Prior to the Update, I had: Linux sa-i1420 *4.15.0-20-generic* #21-Ubuntu SMP Tue Apr 24 06:16:15 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux (command used: *uname -a*). I downloaded the 4.17 rc from the link: *http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.17-rc5/linux-headers <http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.17-rc5/linux-headers> 4.17.0-041700rc5_4.17.0-041700rc5.201805132030_all.deb* available at *http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.17-rc5/ <http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.17-rc5/>* and installed using Software. The installation was successful. Upon restarting the PC, I chose: Advanced options. However, Only two options were there:: Ubuntu 4.15 generic and Ubuntu 4.15 generic recovery.
