Public bug reported:
Hello,
I installed Ubuntu Budgie - amd64 on my Inspiron 1420. When I close the
lid the Notebook (apparently) goes into suspend mode. Instead of
starting-up upon opening the lid, the notebook shuts down. I couldn't
find the settings for the lid in the settings menu.
I can think of two possible reasons (not necessarily true):
1) My HDD is password protected. When I open my notebook it asks for HD
password and then takes to the boot menu.
2) I have two operating systems (Dual Boot) installed on my Notebook:
Windows 10 developer edition and Ubuntu Budgie.
Please look into this.
Thanks,
Sakib.
