Sorry about the very shot error message - but first I got very excited
about the upgrade notification and later on excitement turned into
disappointment and frustration ;-)

Okay..., I've installed Kubuntu Gutsy (7.10) Beta version and got the
upgrade message (about upgrading to the final Gutsy 7.10 release). It
all began very well, but then a dialog about "Support for some
applications ended" was displayed - have a look at the attached picture.
Fine with me - I began uninstalling those files as I could see that
newer versions was available and already installed on my system. But
after a preview of what was going to be uninstalled - as a consequence
of uninstalling the listed files (as seen in the attachment) - mplayer,
mozilla-mplayer-plugin and the whole OpenOffice.org package was also
going to be removed. The first I could live with for a while but
uninstalling my beloved office package...! :-S

So, now I'm doing nothing else than sitting here, waiting for someone to
fix this prob. :-) Please let me know what to do and poke me when I can
do the upgrade.

Best regards,
Hasse
