Hi Jeremy :) I agree with your assessment on 16.10. I did include a debdiff for 14.04 as well, though. Looks like all currently supported releases ship the same version of this package so might as well fix it there too while I'm at it.
Don't know what the usual steps are, but I've generated debdiffs based on source packages with tweaked version number and "target release". Based on other packages, adding the release number to versions number seems to be the way to avoid version conflicts when upgrading from one release to the other. ** Patch added: "trusty.debdiff" https://bugs.launchpad.net/smartshine/+bug/1701648/+attachment/4909164/+files/trusty.debdiff ** Tags added: trusty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1701648 Title: app never starts in Ubuntu 16.04.2 due to missing python-cairo module To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/smartshine/+bug/1701648/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
