Same problem here with a Thinkpad R51. I plugged in eth0 for now, but will try rebooting with the old kernel. Nice to see a bug report so quickly, but hopefully this can be resolved quickly (I've got a Thinkpad X22 I'm afraid to reboot now after the .13 kernel update).
