as on the other I also confirm on a Dell 4600i running Nvidia Fx5200 with the Nvidia binary i can get a gui at least on mine because i mved the xorg to rexorg.conf and that way it uses the the nvidia glx or whatever from the distro, i prob. can get higher res by screen resolution, however then prob. My taskbar will get messed up when I do so and all gets returned to normal..
So i'm a confirmer. :( last time this happened it was there however now I always know to check restricted drivers manager the program and if it throws up that error then i know what's wrong.
