I am seeing this problem on Feisty, without the noapic boot option the PC will not start. It is a HP Pavilion DV9094EA and installed using the x86 image. I am in the process of DL the Gutsy AMD64 image and will try to boot into the live option. This did not work on Feisty. The problems with booting with noapic is that sleep and hibernate does not work nor does high speed USB2.0 work.
I am seeing the same thing as Ahmed does and am attaching the same outputs in one log. ** Attachment added: "Collection of: lsmod , lspci -vvnn , uname -a , kernel log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9553080/misc_otputs.log -- booting HP Pavilion tx1020 laptop requires noapic kernel option https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103273 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
