The bug description makes reference only to the OO extension site. But either way, whether we're talking LO or OO extention repos, the scenario remains that there may be more than one checker.
I may be misreading the bug slightly but it sounds like the idea is to provide the maximum number of hunspell dictionaries possible - which means we can't just rely on those which LO or OO bundle because not all spellcheckers are bundled with LO/OO, some devs prefer to just host them on the extension site and (presumably because it's easier to maintain) the version on the extension sites are often newer than those bundled with the product. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/268953 Title: [needs-packaging] provide all dictionaries available for hunspell To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-selector/+bug/268953/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
