Yes Sebastien, I am talking the Automatic Mount Options in Disks and and I agree with your logic, however what I am getting instead with auto mount toggled on and set to mount at startup, the partition is not mounted. Here's an example showing the options as set and the partition reported as unmounted in disks: http://imgur.com/SCSZ8hs Also running mount in a terminal confirms that the partition remains unmounted in my case it's partition /dev/sda2
