Thank you for reporting this bug, and attempting to help make Ubuntu
better.  However, this is really a bug in your source package - the
libboost-python package actually ships to libraries: libboost_python-mt
and libboost_python-st for multiple-threads and single-thread versions
respectively.

If the build-system of that package does not correctly select one of
those two libraries you will need to patch it so that it links against
the right library (probably the -mt library).
