Thank you for responding to this bug, and attempting to help make Ubuntu better. However, I still think there is an issue here, or at least I'm not sure you understood my bug report. While I understand that there are 2 separate libraries (.so files) for single and multi-threaded use, there is only a single debian package of libboost-python. Both library versions are contained within the libboost-python1.34.0 package.
