AceLan, I blacklisted hid_rmi, but it didn't help the jumpy cursor problem.
I also tried to rmmod psmouse after it was loaded. I thought I have a faulty touchpad and reverted to the old kernel for testing. The jumpy cursor problem went away immediately.
