I'm still on 13.10 cuz I'm waiting with the upgrade. I just checked the
file mentioned by Francesco:

$ cat /etc/grub.d/05_debian_theme | grep highlight
                        echo "${1}set menu_color_highlight=black/light-gray"
                        echo "${1}set menu_color_highlight=white/blue"
                echo "  set color_highlight=${3}"

Does it mean that my upgrade is gonna fail too because I don't have
"grub_term_highlight_color" in 05_debian_theme?

Why is it not there? Has it been removed by something? Is it gonna be
put there by something during upgrade? Why is it so crucial for grub
that it refuses to start without it?
