Public bug reported: Python scriting isn't working in Trusty (Ubuntu 14.04). Indeed, when trying to initialize the scripting it results in "Failed to export QtiPlot API: Accessing QtiPlot functions or objects from Python code won't work. Probably your version of Qt/SIP/PyQt differs from the one QtiPlot was compiled against."
Qtiplot installed version : 0.9.8.9-8. This bug has been previously reported and fixed for Saucy (Ubuntu 13.10), see bug #1243269 (as well as in Raring, see bug #1129237). But it appears again in Trusty... It seems to be a compatibility problem. It looks quite strange that this bug happens every release... I hope you could fix this easily. ** Affects: qtiplot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1311721 Title: qtiplot package needs to be rebuilt against new SIP libraries To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtiplot/+bug/1311721/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
