This happens to me every time a day passes, for instance: if I turn my computer 
on today then tomorrow the selected day will be todays, and so forth.
As an example the attached screenshot is from today.

To reproduce (the short way...): 
1) disable NTP
2) set the hour to 11:59PM 
3) wait a minute
