Joshua, I was suggested by your #25, where you displayed your dmesg output - I'm not very experience in kernel debugging (yet), so it looked quite similar for me. Anyway. I have the same device (Atheros AR9565) in my laptop so I'm waiting for solution to finally make it working as BT device and not only WiFi. If I can help somehow with testing, let me know.
