Hi Russell, if you have exactly the same device (id 0x0489 0xe05f) then be module will not help you get this working with kernel 3.11.0-15-generic. Please read everything from comment #55, the original bug why I opend this report was that my device wasn't recogniced at all. This is fix since 3.14-rc1, but another bug is that even with 3.14 bluetooth only works sporadic. Please reboot several times, if bluetooth only works some times then you are suffering from the same bug as me and the module will help you.
