That workaround, you mention, was anticipated and stated in my initial submission (at the top of this page). I guess I'm not using the term "regression" correctly. Is "degradation" more appropriate? What word means: "a loss of previously achieved functionality, optimization, or convenience"? Upstream design decisions, are no less subject to scrutiny than regressions. Both are legitimate reasons to submit a bug report. No matter what we call these things, the fact remains that a "feature that was achieved" is now missing from Nautilus. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1178697 Title: Regression - Can't "Open with" on Folders To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1178697/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
