I've made some other tests to see the correlation between things. >From what I can see: - wake-up after suspend causes a 100% cpu usage (even if the system starts without the 80% cpu issue) - the 80% cpu issue happens randomly (after shutdown or reboot, doesn't matter) - the powercord trick works randomly - phc-intel package is not the problem as I said before
There are issues with "service networking restart" and with evolution- data-server but these can't be related directly with this bug. ** Attachment added: "ubuntu1210-samsung-np700z7c-tests.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/887793/+attachment/3468310/+files/ubuntu1210-samsung-np700z7c-tests.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/887793 Title: Kworker constantly taking about 100% CPU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/887793/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
