Hello Henrique First of all, again, thank you for the interest and help you have been willing to provide, that means a lot.
We rechecked and double checked via the motherboard on board post code display and all codes were normal. We checked the MSI website and found no latter bios version than what we flashed at the conclusion of the build, and then to make sure called the 1-888 tech support number just in case. They said we had their latest bios version. Then a quick install of Ubuntu 13.04 and I have included the information as before from that install just in case you are curious or interested. To me, this seems to be an issue with Ubuntu 12.04. I don't think this cpu and motherboard were on the market when 12.04 was released so we tried 13.04 just to see and it seemed much better. Then, just before noon today, the gentleman who is paying for it decided he wanted a different operating system installed and shipped out today to his grandson , and so we did. We were also having problems with getting graphics display and audio drivers to work correctly also, so I can understand his decision.
