The problem has been fixed after Dapper. I'm on FEISTY now, so there is no way 
I could attach lspci or packages.txt. Sorry.
The workaround is to install gxvattr and then run this command upon every boot 
::
xvattr -a XV_GAMMA5 -v 13027014
This brings normalcy to the video.

The biggest problem was that, when I took screenshots of it from Movie
Player, I got the right colors.
