Ok, so I found out that
"the software-center scans only the main archive packages (and the data from
softwrae-center-agent.ubuntu.com), but not from PPAs"
And I finally found out for sure that it is indeed the lmms.desktop file that
is the whole problem. Apparently it is not in the binary (as we know having
dealt with this bug). So, as far as I understand, the upstream merge (moving
0.4.13 into precise) should fix this problem. So hopefully this problem is
already fixed, and they will do whatever they need to to review my merger and
say "OK!" and we can mark this as solved.
Thanks again for all your help!!
I will definetly keep checking on this and I will update when things happen, or
I know something.
