Suspend on close lid seems to work in Ubuntu Gnome Remix 12.10 You may also see in the comments: "I am running BIOS version P03AAC. I didn't do any firmware upgrades before I installed Linux." Did anyone else confirm the bug is solved on 12.10 ?
