I should probably add that I am on Ubuntu 12.04.1 with Unity and using a
German keyboard layout, but the US English keyboard layout (US
International, alternative) seems to have the same problem.

Also, activating dead keys, using acute plus c, I get "ç", not "ć".

(Should this go to a different bug, or is this a c plus something bug?)

Title:
'Apostrophe' + 'c' keys does not produce the 'ccedilla' symbol, it
  produces the 'cacute' symbol instead
