As annoying as it is that Flash and other plug-ins consume all keyboard input once they receive focus, I thought this was supposed to be intentional so that the plug-in could do whatever it wanted with keyboard input without the user accidentally screwing up the browser (such as unwanted scrolling, tab-closing, tab-changing, menu commands, etc.). This is particularly important with interactive plug-ins such as games.
The simple workaround is to click somewhere outside of the plug-in before trying to use any of the browser's keyboard commands. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/263435 Title: Firefox cannot close tab (using Ctrl-w) when flash content is selected on page To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/263435/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
