Same here. My DIY-System (i5, Asus P8Z77V-Pro) freezes completely, no mouse, no keys, last bits of audio keep repeating. There is nothing relevant in the logs. Replacing the Xorg-intel driver with fbdev fixes the problem. By the way, other distributions seem to have the same problem. I installed a fresh debian wheezy, which also freezes without obvious reason until I change the X-Driver.
