@henrix: Hello Luis Henriques. I've already seen this same behaviour with a different kernel version (always 3.something, sorry, I dont' exactly remember). The only solution that worked was to boot with kernel 2.something. After a couple of kernel version updates, everything worked well again as in the past. I presume it's some kind of problem that's related to my specific system configuration. At the time I reported the bug and also all the testing I did. If you can access older bug reports you'll find more info.
However. I have just run sudo update-grub. Here's the message transcription: "Generating grub.cfg ... I'm going to reload the system now and (hopefully) report back in a hour. ;) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1013647 Title: no boot at kernel load 3.2.0-25-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1013647/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
