It is working as expected. System-config-printer finds my printer and
the first choice is AppSocket JetDirect for protocol.

The reason it wasn't working before was because I had another system-
config-printer is /usr/local, which I'd installed earlier to see if it
would help. Even though I ran /usr/system-config-printer, I guess it was
pick up certain files from the other one installed.  My fault.
