In response to post #63, I have three computers with Nividia. One is a desktop with a GForce 9500 card. It works perfectly fine with the 295-40 driver. Two computers, one desktop and one laptop, have integrated Nividia graphics. I'm running Nouveau on both. The resolution is automatically, corrrectly recognized. The desktop has a 19 inch widescreen monitor and it is at 1440 x 900. The other is a 15 inch laptop and it is at 1280 x 800.
