I can confirm this. I cannot suspend *or* hibernate on either 2.6.20-15
or on 2.6.20-16.

My experience with suspend is the same as Jonathan's: "When I try to
suspend ... I get some disk activity, then the screen and disk both
shutdown. The only indication that the computer is on is that the white
LED at the front turns on when I close the lid. I can't wake the
computer up from this state, either by hitting keys or pressing the
power button."

 I've tried the "if(0)" patch suggested on the Ubuntu MacBook wiki, to
no avail. I also saw the note on Friendly Linux
(http://friendlylinux.org/2007/06/03/ubuntu-704-on-a-macbook/) that
suspend only works after changing Power Management settings; that
doesn't solve the issue for me either.

With hibernate, it will load the saved image from disk into RAM, and
then the last message written to the screen is "Suspending console(s)".
After that, it hangs indefinitely.
