Emmanuel, grazi mille.

For about four years I have had this HP nc6400 running Gentoo and more
recently, Ubuntu. In both, it exhbited this bug, and froze all its
onboard inputs after an apparently random interval when running on
battery. The kernel version you found and shared has freed it from
being chained always to the power converter. It's just like a real
laptop, now!

Many, many thanks,
-jmsj
