Thanks James, are you sure it's not a red herring? I see no reason why that change should fix it in theory, I also built without 05_shared_libdaemon.patch here and I still get the connection refused issue, obexfs is also not behaving in a consistant way for me... could be simply a random timing issue and depending of the luck you get when trying?
