My card is a 9600 gt. As said I 've tried with the mainline kernel from 1st of december and it was not working. Of course I can try a newer one and see if it is fixed with mainline. It seems that alpha 1 precise installs nvidia-173 by default. I know a lot of people who could not boot from alpha 1.
