obrowny: As someone noted over on bug #901386, your bug sounds very similar to what I'm experiencing.
I don't see which hardware you're using. Can you tell us what kind of nVidia card you have? Mine's a Pny GTX 560 Ti. Also, you might want to try booting with a mainline kernel. I used 3.2rc4 (http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel- ppa/mainline/v3.2-rc4-oneiric/), and was able to use nvidia-current without any problem (which is why I filed my bug against the kernel package and not nvidia-current). Can you test to see if that works for you too? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/897102 Title: precise can't boot with linux 3.2.0.1.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/897102/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
