The way Ubuntu works, this bug won't be fixed in Oneiric (11.10), but in the next release. I will probably get a new Winff release out today, and will upload a new version to Debian. I will build new versions in the Winff repository [1] after the release, hopefully also today. If you want it NOW, you can use my experimental repository [2] to get the changes that will appear in the new winff release to fix this bug.
