** Attachment added: "term.log" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7577692/term.log
** Description changed: I was updating from 6.06 to 6.10. All package downloaded successfully and were being installed when it failed. The report is attached below. Messagebox Title: Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/hotkey-setup_0.1-17ubuntu3_i386.deb' Contents: subprocess new pre-removal script returned error exit status 1 EDIT: The dialog said that installation would be aborted after this, but when I clicked OK, it continues to install the remaining packages. EDIT: Again I got an abort message with the following messages. The files from /var/log/dist-upgrade are below (Files 4, 5, 6) Could not install the upgrades The upgrade aborts now. Your system could be in an unusable state. A recovery was run (dpkg --configure -a). installArchives() failed + This time upon closing the dialog box the upgrade aborted and the + application closed. I think there was about 20 mins of installation time + left. + Regards, Prashanth -- Upgrade from 6.06 to 6.10 failed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/113073 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
