Hi Ahmed, thanks for tending to this merge, and updating it as the debian versions increase.
I've verified the 8.9.6 patch does build properly on i386. I'm a little worried that there might be side effects from some of the debian fixes, which would be unfortunate to have this late in the cycle. Looking at the debhelper bug reports, I don't see any reported issues that look like they'd be fixed by upgrading to this version, so I'm concerned we'd be taking on some regression risks without gaining a defined benefit. Are you aware of some tangible benefits we'd gain? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/812120 Title: Please merge debhelper 8.9.6 from Debian unstable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debhelper/+bug/812120/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
