To log out, simple click on the power icon in the upper-right hand corner and select "Log Out...". Then go to the terminal screen using Ctrl+Alt+F1 and run 'cat /proc/meminfo > meminfo-nogui.txt'. Then use Ctrl-Alt-F7 to return to the gui environment, log in, and attach meminfo-nogui.txt here.
