besides giving "cat /proc/fs/cifs/DebugData" giving: "cat /proc/fs/cifs/Stats" echo 4 > /proc/fs/cifs/cifsFYI (this command enabled additional timing information be logged in dmesg file) and then, after copying a file, try to do dsmeg | grep cifs and post result.
